Jeremy has been in the hotel industry for 40 years working for Queens Moat House, Whitbread and Marriott Hotels. Jeremy has owned and operated the Crowne Plaza East Midlands Airport Hotel, Kegworth for 26 years, his roles prior to this include operating hotels for the Whitbread Hotel Company under the Marriott, Country Club Hotels and Lansbury hotel brands. He represents Best Western as a focused and driven board member and previously Chairman of the Board and is an avid brand partner more recently bringing numerous properties into the IHG portfolio, each following extensive refurbishments, designed and build led by Jeremy.

Chris has been in the hotel industry for 30 years working for Four Seasons Resorts in Sydney, Australia, Red Carnation Hotels in London and for Thistle Hotels throughout the UK. Chris spent 8 years in the role of General Manager and Area Manager for Thistle Hotels. Prior to that Chris spent 4 years working for Forte Hotels. Chris is an all-round accomplished hotel management professional with extensive expertise in sales, revenue management, and strategy. He has a proven track record in driving commercial sales, optimising revenue through tactical pricing and demand forecasting. Chris works closely with revenue teams and brand representatives ensuring strategies are amended, focusing teams to conduct pricing reviews, review competitor analysis and market demands to provide continuous growth for owners and shareholders alike. Chris is also experienced in system management, including PMS setup, channel management, and OTA partnerships, ensuring optimal market presence and performance for all of our properties.

Deena has been in sales throughout her career. Deena has been involved with branded hotels for 18 years and has a vast knowledge of the major UK hotel brands including Radisson, Guoman and IHG. Highly skilled at developing relationships with key individuals in the Hotel and travel management industry.

Denna has built up strong relationships with all the key Travel Management Companies (TMC’s) and Hotel Booking Agents (HBA’s). It is through key relationships with selected brands, the TMC’s and the HBA’s that HBS is uniquely placed to optimise the performance and profitability of each individual property.

Yvonne Hyde
Yvonne Hyde Regional Operations Manager

Yvonne has worked in hotels for over 35 years in many roles for brands such as Hyatt, Thistle/Guoman, Menzies, Best Western and private owners alike.
Yvonne’s role as Regional Operations Manager is to evaluate current operations and to work with the hotel teams to implement proven business guidelines, processes, and strategies to deliver a return on investment to owners and stake holders. Yvonne’s experience working with brands such as Marco Pierre White, Starbucks and Deliveroo also offers options for hotels owners and stakeholders to develop further opportunities within the business. Yvonne has supported owners in numerous extensive refurbishments and brand conversions, the most recent being the transition of our Kegworth property to a Crowne Plaza and our Nottingham property to a Garner, both exiting and successful transitions to the IHG family of hotels.
